I bet you’ve heard of IMDB! And if you watch movies on your PC or laptop you’ve had fought with subtitles searching, translating and/or synchronizing’em with your movie. Now, you have OSDB which gives you the simplicity of the searching. Check out the www.opensubtitles.org for more details.
By the way, the latest MySE version 2.3.1 supports OSDB protocol as well.
